Welcome to the class web site for CIOS 258, taught by Carol Gering. This post signals the "beginning point" for students registered in Spring 2009 semester. I'm recycling the class blog from last spring—so if you scroll down, you'll see posts from a previous class. It's not necessary to read any of the posts from last semester, but they're available if you're interested. The "Recent Photos" on the right are from students who were in the class last year. You'll be adding your photos to the pool soon!
This class requires active participation. In order to succeed you must attend regularly and work together with other class members. I'll provide lots of hands-on exercises and opportunities for discussion during class time. You'll be expected to post photos to Flickr every week, and to comment on the photos your classmates post.
