A couple of things to keep in mind as you're selecting a Flickr group:
- Notice how many members the group has. A group of 5 members may not be very active. Likewise, in a group with 5,000 members, your photos may get lost in the sheer volume of images.
- Notice how active group members are in posting comments. Also, pay attention to the quality of the comments.
- Look at the quality of the images in the group pool. Are most of the photos inspiring...or just mediocre?
NOTE: Be sure to read the group rules before you begin posting. Some groups have very specific rules about how many photos you can post, how often you can post, and how you should comment to other group members. Other groups have almost no rules at all. Proper etiquette requires that you familiarize yourself with the group culture and play by the group rules.
